ABOUT OUR CLUB
THE SUSSEX BRITISH MOTORCYCLE OWNERS CLUB was formed in May 1986 for anyone owning or having an interest in British motorcycles (even vaguely), but these days it welcomes any make, any age (bike or rider), any origin and even electric motorcycle or scooters. It meets every Monday evening (except usually Bank Holidays) from 7.30pm to 10pm at the Clymping Village Hall on the A259 (50 yards from the Ford road roundabout) BN17 5SN.
As part of the Clymping Sports and Social Club we enjoy use of the Village Hall facilities including a bar and a large car park with hard standing for motorcycles. In an effort to accommodate the wishes of our 100+ strong membership and apart from the very sociable Monday meetings we undertake a variety of activities. Weekly day runs around local lanes before often usually adjourning to one of the many hostelries that welcome bikers, although Covid screwed this up and it is now more adhoc. For those who wish to ride further afield we also go to shows and places of interest and you will find full details on our Events Calendar and Events Reports section on this website. Social events also are popular with, quizzes, skittles nights, an open day and annual evening events with partners and friends very welcome. The Club is an NPO and raises funds in support of a local Sussex children’s charity Kamelia Kids Day Nursery
Should you be interested in joining please come along any Monday evening and introduce yourself. We are a friendly bunch and visitors are always welcome. If you like what you see then perhaps you’ll join us.
